RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedules pre-employment physicals, periodic exams, motor vehicle license exams, medical consultations, hearing, vision, and spirometry screenings
Works closely with recruiters to schedule pre-employment physicals
Keeps an open line of communication through the entire medical process
Keeps abreast the medical status of the candidates
Locates facilities for pre-employment physicals and drug screens
Serves as liaison for offsite pre-employment physicals and drug screens
Assists in the onboarding process by assisting the drug coordinator in coordinating drug screenings
Ensures that change of custody forms are properly completed
Communicates with the laboratory concerning medical forms
Relays messages to the drug coordinator concerning results
Assists with medical surveillance programs
Assists employees in completing medical questionnaires, scheduling testing appointments, and composing correspondences in reference to the specific surveillance
Work with lead nurse, medical officer, as well as other medical staff
Maintains schedules for preemployment physicals
Completes medical questionnaires
Schedules testing appointments
Tracks and/or schedules conferences, appointments, trips, telephone calls, etc.
Reminds supervisor of scheduled conferences, appointments, trips, telephone calls, etc.
Composes correspondence, emails, etc.
Maintains confidential records and handles record keeping
Prepares medical and briefing notes
Applies medical terminology
Performs a wide range of clerical and administrative support of a medical unit
Performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties

EDUCATION
Preference for Bachelor’s degree
